We pride ourselves on the efficiency of our process, selecting candidates that are recommended
by their peers and considered to be true professionals, highly skilled. Our matchmaking skills
include vetting and offering an honest profile of no more than 5 top candidates. You will not
throw resumes against the wall to see what sticks.
- Stakeholder investment - We will spend a considerable amount of time upfront getting to know our clients, the role to be filled, and the culture. We will learn the strengths and makeup of the existing team. Stakeholder investment requires a time commitment of the client and search firm. Both parties must be willing to engage.
- Confidential Position Description - The creation of a compelling marketing document is critical. We are often asked to keep our clients' name confidential or to recruit a competitor's top talent.
- Progress Calls - We require weekly calls to keep candidates and stakeholders engaged, and our team on target.
- Candidate Presentation - Candidates can be presented as a "slate" or an individual rolling basis as they are vetted.
- Reference Checks - Formal reference checks will occur as a finalist emerges. We will create a "profile" that includes the candidate’s attitude, work ethic, motivations, and possibilities for advancement into future roles. We will administer background checks and BMV clarification if requested.
- Research & Candidate Development – We will communicate, sharing developing profiles. We will share honest and unfiltered market feedback with you.
- Final Steps:
- Offer Negotiation - There are many aspects to consider; Relocation, bonuses, advancement, family situation. We will work closely on all aspects of the preliminary offer expectations, both with the employer and candidate.
- Feedback Process - A new employer's experiences are most important in the first sixty days (and our guarantee rests on it). Once a part of our team, we will connect for regular feedback with the client and employee to assist with onboarding and cultural adviser.

a hiring expert with a proven ability to partner and foster trusting relationships with key decision
makers that include leadership positions, investors, and business advisors. Her attitude of
contribution, authentic conversation, and cultural understanding make her the perfect extension of

Community is an important element of balance. In her spare time, she proudly serves as
Governance Committee Chair on the Board of Brooke’s Place for Grieving Youth. Shelly also serves
as a Precinct Committee Person in Hamilton County, IN, and serves as President of her community
HOA Board. She has been a leadership coach with Zarvos Leadership, based in Indianapolis for
over a decade and continues that work quarterly.
She is a travel enthusiast and loves to cook in her down time.
